Purpose
This work explores a safer and more reproducible operating model for Proxmox-based infrastructure in which deployment, networking, DNS, certificate management and security controls are designed together instead of being bolted on after services are already running.
Research questions
- How can service connectivity requirements be represented before firewall and segmentation rules are generated?
- How can DNS and certificate-provider configuration be automated without losing operator visibility?
- How can VLAN, SDN and private-network configuration be managed as part of the same infrastructure model?
- How can drift between intended and actual configuration be detected and explained?
